Jessica Ridgeway Memorial Park Remodel – How To Donate

Jessica Sign

The City of Westminster was already planning to renovate the park in 2014, but now the improvements will happen in 2013. The park originally named “Chelsea Park” was renamed “Jessica Ridgeway Memorial Park” in November, 2012.

CBS showcased Linda Mitchell and John Johnston as two strangers who came together to have the park renamed for Jessica Ridgeway. To read the article click here.

The Jessica Ridgeway Memorial Park remodel will cost $450,000. In keeping with The Ridgeway Family's wishes, the park will be a celebration of Jessica's life. The City of Westminster has collaborated with The Ridgeway Family on the design and has committed $200,00 in cash and in-kind services.

The Ridgeways are excited and proud of the City of Westminster fundraising for the Jessica Ridgeway Memorial Park. Jessica would want the park to be a place that embraces the fun and joy she had playing there with her scooter, dog and friends. It will be a place for families to gather and enjoy for years.

Help make this park a reality for the community and Jessica!
